My plan was simple.
I wanted livestock guardian dogs for my foals on my own farm. But at first that was just theory. First, I had to find a breed that could cope with horses, people, daily farm life, and the threat of wolves. Rah and Sun have been here since they were puppies and grew up in exactly this setting.
I'm a horse trainer and breeder, a farmer, a hunter, and I hold an official certificate for keeping birds of prey. So wolves aren't something I know about only from talk shows.
